Coming up...

Hiya young people (FYI I have decided we are all young. Good to know right?),

I have some goodies coming up for you in the next few days - tomorrow, the holiday post which includes zoo stories, wedding tales and a celebrity (sort of....).

And, make sure you are here on Monday where you will get an exciting guest blogger......

STEVE!

Yep, Mr Steve himself will be doing a post on a subject very close to his heart. It is slightly more manish than I tend to cater for so tell your boys and manfolk to get their tushies here as well. And I think he is quite nervous so be nice to him please.

Also, a quick question: is bathroom water the same as kitchen water?

Last night we were in bed and Steve was going to get a glass of water, he asked if I wanted one, I said yes. He then came back saying that the bathroom was really cold.

Now for some reason the very idea of drinking water from the bathroom tap fills me with horror.

Why? I don't know.

Is it the same? Anybody know?

I don't know, but I do know that bathroom water tastes better than kitchen water when you're hungover. It's like it's softer. But my Mum always says that you shouldn't drink from the bathroom tap.

P.S. Livy, I have to confess here because I'm getting totally paranoid - I just removed my photographer as a follower on Twitter because I'm freaked that he'll read my photography rant and think I'm b*ing about him! Phew... Glad I got that off my chest...

Well, someone told me that the water in the bathroom is recycled sewage water from the loo. But I'm pretty sure that's an urban myth - if you want to risk it!

It depends on where you get your water from.

I thought bathroom water came from the loft tank but I may be wrong and it may be different in flats from houses?

bathroom water is exactly the same as kitchen water, in fact the water that goes into your cistern is exactly the same as well, you can (theoretically) drink them all, cleanliness of your cistern and mothers' instructions notwithstanding.

all water is recycled sewage water - if you think about it, there's only a finite amount of water on the planet, it just keeps going round and round

In which case my advice is - DON'T think about it!

Ok I wish I didn't read that whilst holding a glass of water to my lips!! Our bathroom water is also a lot nicer than the kitchen water, I have no idea why!

Love love love it Becca! Totally something I would do.

And, just to keep you all informed, last night I voluntarily drank bathroom water.

Partly because I took on board all your lovely advice and partly because I am lazy and the kitchen seemed oh so far away.
